#006: automations, rhythms and in-betweens
a new month, with all it’s newness!
I almost skipped publishing today’s article. As much as I wanted to share something, I felt like I didn’t have enough to say. But then I remembered what I’ve been quietly exploring these past few weeks and it’s definitely worth talking about.
On the tech side, I’ve been experimenting with GitHub Copilot Agent Mode, and honestly? I’m mind-blown. The possibilities are wild, and I’m only just scratching the surface.
On the flip side, I’ve been diving deep into readings around childhood trauma and the inner child and the insights? Next-level. What’s even more beautiful is that I’ve started applying what I’m learning to my everyday life, and it’s been transformational.
AI: on browser, again.
When Azure AI Foundry Local launched during Build, I couldn’t wait to dive in — especially to experiment with browser automation. After successfully installing the SDK, I quickly ran into my biggest hurdle: getting the browser automation to actually work. I first tried Browser-Use, but ran into more errors than I could count. Then I explored MCP, but honestly, I had no idea how to implement the whole flow.
Eventually, I pivoted to using Playwright with Flask, and guess what? It worked beautifully. 🙌 I’ll be covering the full breakdown in the next episode of Fun Friday Demo (🤞).

The In-Betweens
After a low of layoffs and a high of Microsoft Build, I have been reflecting more on my brand, what I need to build and what next. It’s been a quiet and unassuming in-between.
Here’s what’s up:
Hobby: Painting on paper is one thing, but painting the wall of a classroom? Exhilarating. 10/10 would do again.
Podcast: I’ve officially fallen into the true crime rabbit hole. I finished all the episodes of True Crime Kenya and I’m now diving into Rotten Mango.
Show: Winnie the Pooh. That’s it. That’s the sentence.
Fiction: Just finished another Emily Henry book (Happy Place), and yes, I cried too hard. Worth it.
Non-fiction: I recently wrapped up Radical Self-Love by Sue Clancy. Currently reading Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams, it’s just okay so far, but I’m committed to finishing it.
Experiences: There’s something magical about spontaneous drives and unplanned pit stops. That’s the dream, honestly.

Beauty in the Mundane
My theme for the year is Beauty.
And one thing I’ve appreciated this past week? Lying in the shade, soaking in the sun, and stealing quiet moments playing with my cats on the rooftop.
